Combining (i) real-time 3D imaging using synchrotron X-ray tomography and (ii) monolithic Finite Element simulation, the fiber scale rheology of fiber suspensions with non-Newtonian suspending fluid in confined flow situations was analyzed to reconsider fiber orientation models of the litterature.
